TOPICS:
Dr. Hinchcliffe will guide us through the inner workings of our bodies during the transitional phases of hormones. Perimenopause, Menopause, and Postmenopause all bring changes. By gaining knowledge about our body's hormonal changes, we can feel better equipped to move through the phases. Dr. Hinchcliffe will also give tips on what she has found to be most helpful during this time.
Dr. Annie Cumming will share why menopausal symptoms such as urinary leakage, pelvic pain, muscle loss, abdominal weight gain, and weakened bones show up in this menopause season of life, and what we can do about it. She’ll also discuss how we can integrate evidence-based tools into our daily lives to support your own genitourinary system and pelvic health, as well as practice how to adjust your physical exercises for a more global anti-inflammatory impact, promoting bone, muscle, and pelvic health.
Melissa Anne will guide us in experiencing a deep relaxation and connection with Yoga Nidra, immersing ourselves in a guided meditation-style practice to soothe the nervous system, cultivate harmony within and honor your deep wisdom and grace during transition.
Pamela Malo will share the essential role of nutrition during menopause, covering key dietary strategies to support hormonal balance, bone health, metabolism, and overall well-being. We’ll discuss nutrient-rich foods, lifestyle tips, and practical meal planning to help manage symptoms and promote long-term health.
Victoria Heemstra will be our guide through meaningful rituals and ceremonies that honor your transformation, offering a sacred space for reflection.
Michele Muffoletto is hosting the Harmony Within workshop at The Wanderers’ Nest Therapeutic Farm. Here, you’ll get to experience the magic of being outside and connecting with others.

Hi, I’m Annie (She/Her). I started White Pine Pelvic Health to provide a nurturing resource for healing, learning, and ultimately empowering clients with their own innate health and wellness.
I have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and have completed extensive post doctoral training in pelvic floor physical therapy and conditions related to pain, bowel and bladder health, as well as menopause, pregnancy and postpartum care. With over 20 years experience as a yoga teacher, my holistic approach to wellness allows me to integrate a cohesive blend of evidence-based clinical research, manual therapy, mindfulness, and breath practice into patient care, workshops, and yoga classes. I am passionate about working with the whole person, not just the symptoms, to support living more fully in your body for an engaging healthy life.
I was the founder and program lead for the PT and Urogynecological Postpartum Clinic at NorthShore University Health System in Skokie, IL which focuses on early postpartum interventions for people with third or fourth degree obstetric perineal lacerations.
I have experience working in hospital based inpatient and outpatient clinics as well as private practice settings. I have had amazing teachers and mentors along the way, and value my continued drive to learn and engage professionally. I am an active member of both the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy and the American Physical Therapy Association of Washington.
I live on Bainbridge Island with my husband and two young daughters where I enjoy playing with my family, exploring the coast and forest, cooking, and reading.

Melissa Anne spent over 15 years working in Crisis and Disaster Management with a focus on post-trauma response following mass casualty disasters. She stepped away from her career in 2015 after severe burnout and a healing journey led her to explore Mindfulness Meditation, Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) and creative arts. In 2018 just after moving to Bainbridge Island she suffered a traumatic brain injury and found herself on a yoga mat at Dayaalu Center after months of physical and cognitive rehab.
Melissa Anne is now a certified teacher in Hatha Yoga, Neuroscience and Yoga, Raga Yoga and Yoga Nidra. She continues to take classes and teaches Hatha Yoga and Yoga Nidra and Pranayama classes at Dayaalu Center and online.
Melissa Anne is also a Fine Art Photographer with a unique style and loves to spend time tending the land, cultivating and harvesting crops and communing with animals, birds and plants. Her ideal day begins with her camera and a sunrise beach, mantra and hatha, opportunities to place seeds or plants in the earth, spending time with friends in community and conversation and ending the day with the sweet peace of a Yoga Nidra.
Visit Melissa Anne’s color sanctuary online for nature photography and more or register for online and in-person wellness sessions on Bainbridge Island.
